Memberships
VicSuper is a member of:
- the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA)
- the Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI)
- the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST)
- the Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC) Australia/New Zealand
- the Financial Industry Complaints Service (FICS)
- the Enhanced Analytics Initiative^ (EAI)
- the Responsible Investment Association Australasia* (RIAA)

VicSuper is a signatory to:
- the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI). We became a signatory in 2002.
- the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). We became a signatory in June 2006.
- The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). We became a signatory in 2004.
Awards and recognition 
In April 2007, VicSuper was named as the best sustainability reporter by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the Australian & New Zealand Awards for Sustainability Reporting 2006. A field of 38 other organisations including three of the major Australian banks, water corporations and large listed companies such as ANZ, BHP Billiton, IAG and Westpac entered the awards. The awards recognise an organisation's completeness, credibility and communication in its reporting.
We also received two awards for our workplace policies and practices:
- Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA) Business Achievment Award: Leading Organisation for the Advancement of Women (in organisations with less than 500 employees).
- EOWA Employer of Choice for Women.
In October 2006 VicSuper was the recipient of the Werner Strauss 2006 Achievement Award from the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand.
