Strategy 3: Attract, develop and keep great people

Employee engagement and satisfaction

Staff satisfaction INT3

Our performance

In 2006/07 we met our commitment to introduce a formal staff satisfaction survey. We engaged Hewitt Associates to partner with us in this process. The rollout of this survey to staff commenced in June 2007. Completion is due at the conclusion of the first half of 2007/08.

Other forms of measuring satisfaction include:

  • one month catch ups - feedback session with the Manager VicSuper People on recruitment process, induction, culture, role, team, organisation, and first impressions of VicSuper as a whole held one month after commencing at VicSuper
  • learning and development evaluations completed by staff after training sessions
  • exit interviews to capture feedback from staff about their experiences while working at VicSuper
  • Certified Agreement negotiations
  • performance review meetings held half yearly.
